The field of art is huge as the sky and we have seen many forms with which people express or evoke something they have. In a closer look art is a language artists use to convey or express something! Today we have such a person who chose a form of art called Zentangle. Meet NATASHA PUNJABI or you may know her as NATANGLE. Natasha is a self-taught artist, entrepreneur, and vlogger.  Natasha started 3 years back and her craving for art pushes her constantly as she never stopped since then. Natasha also specialized in various forms of artwork like MANDALA, DOODLE, and ILLUSTRATIONS.

For those who don't know what Zentangle and Mandala are? The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. Zentangle art is non-representational and unplanned so you can focus on each stroke and not worry about the result. A Mandala, which is Sanskrit for “circle” or “discoid object,” is a geometric design that holds a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. While extraordinary as a standalone work of art, mandalas hold symbolic and meditative meaning beyond their vibrant appearance.

Natasha explains Zentangle as a simplistic and lighthearted way to unwind from the stress of the day.  Each stroke guides her focus on art and helps in achieving mindfulness! Which is directly related to inner peace and happiness. 'The circular formation of Mandalas represents the universe' says Natasha. Nowadays these are created for art therapy. Ignoring the outcome Natasha always enjoys drawing mandalas but ironically the outcome will be always beautiful.  Doodles and Illustrations are more modern forms of artwork and experimenting with new things always been a favorite thing to do for her. Likewise, she started illustrations and then explored VECTOR PORTRAIT and WPAP'S. For her doodling helps her in developing hand-eye coordination, imagination, and independent thinking style.

Natasha has always been a creative kid. Whenever she starts getting bored with reality she escaped to her dreams where there's fairies, monsters, elves, dragons, and goblins. Like every other kid, Natasha had her own world inside her. But when she reached adulthood her dreams are replaced with life goals which these society forces on every one of us! But with courage, Natasha quit her marketing manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE and started looking for things that truly make her happy. Then she ended up with Natangle which gave life to that kid with loads of dreams inside her. ' Much like music or drama; Natangle has helped me discover my inner-self and keeps the magic alive. ' says Natasha.

Encouragement plays an important role in every artist. For an artist like Natasha constant support encouragement, support and inspiration are mandatory which she got from her husband and her followers in social media. If her husband didn't push her into Natangle She probably working in a 10 hrs a day job like every other here does. But her husband's constant efforts and encouragement paid off. Natasha gets her inspiration from, great artists, she follows on Instagram. One important personality among them is Lizzie Snow. She is known as 'fortyonehundred' on Instagram. She's been her greatest inspiration source.

As an adult responsibility plays a vital role in our day to day lives. Quitting a high pay job and start drawing may sound like irresponsible for may of us. It did to her circle too. But with her effort and passion towards art Natasha stood strong till everyone understood what she's up to! Art is something that needs consistent patience, practice, and support. It took almost 6 months for Natasha to reach a good position in this field. After everything people started expecting free commissions as they forget art skills needs hard work and energy to create and master like any other profession.

Natasha loves her every single piece of work but when we asked for favorite she listed the five below,

1. A mandala wall art which is 50 inches diameter in Abu Dhabi.

2. A wooden bamboo turntable.

3. 20-inch wall art in India.

4. An illustration I made for Anushka Sharma.

5. And the various Shiva and Ganpati artworks that I've made.

Here are some of her artworks,

Every artist has their own way of presenting their art, Natasha did too! Natasha loves monochrome than a splash of colors even if she wants some color it will be very little. she usually, draws directly with her marker. she won't plan design in advance, for her, it always comes with the flow. One stroke at a time. Being such a great artist with tons of achievements Natasha holds only five things as her proudest moments. They are,

1. When she received her first order.

2. When she made her first wall art.

3. When she started receiving several messages that she's their idol/inspiration.

4. When she gave her first interview.

5. And the most important one is when her products started selling worldwide.

And finally here are some words from Natasha herself,

You're amazing with whatever you create. Do not disregard or feel disheartened if you're stuck or getting nowhere with the art you're creating. It's the best learning process and that will help you grow in the future. Keep inspiring. Keep creating. Working for someone vis-a-vie working for yourself changes many things in life. These past few years with Natangle have indisputably been the best I’ve experienced and below are the 7 lessons learned.

1. Art and Creativity is not a 9 to 5 job.  2. Self-respect is key. 3. Motivate yourself. 4. take time out to celebrate your small successes.  5. Survive.  6. The customer is not always right but definitely deserves respect. 7. When creating, don't think about the money.  Be imaginative. Be genuine. Be valuable.
